LIGHT POLLUTION at Southern Stars Observatory

Since March 2007 , the City of FAAA has installed Street Light in the road in the North :N.West of SSO , the pollution is caused by 5 standard lamps and one is just  in front of the observatory .  lamps  are Sodium high Pressure ,and they  shine directly into my garden , all the night ( from 06:h00 PM to 05h00AM)

the telescope, it is protected by a long light shield.
plywood masks are installed around the observatory, when observing (pics follows)
but observations stars are only  from -20 South to South pole

We can stop direct light  but not the scattered light to the sky, which is causing
 detrimental effect
to the international astronomical research work  at Observatory

Faaa city council (contacted)  refuses to shield these lights (2007 March /  2011 january)
